Allow me to formally introduce myself…

“I am a storyteller with my music. And my story, nobody is gonna tell it for me.”

Who’s behind Initials S.P.?

Hi, and welcome to Initials S.P.! Thank you for making it to my blog! This is Ayekpa, I am an Afro-French Content Creator, Copywriter and Community Manager based in the UK. I have completed my studies in London and have never looked back since. Essentially, my background lies in Music and Media Management, hence I have a keen interest in Music, Fashion, the Media and Visual Arts as a whole.

One can say that my all-time favourite passion has always been music. Inspired by my roots, being originally from Africa, born and bred in France, living in the UK and beIng heavily influenced by African, British, US and French music.

What else?

Additionally, I am a Singer-Songwriter and Actress, who always had a knack for putting my thoughts on paper, that is until my visit to the Motherland, which encouraged me to get out of my comfort zone. So here I am, starting my blog in 2021 and also starring in an Afro-French web series called AfroPolitaine (to which I was also moonlighting as a Press Officer). In 2023, ready for season 2, the TV show gained momentum when sponsored by French TV and was broadcasted on TV5 MONDE online channel.

Afropolitaine will be aired directly on TV in October 2023. This is also the year that my first single is to be released. Featured in the show, my song Adrenaline Rush (Freakin’Out)- Extended version will be coming out coincidently with Afropolitaine in October 2023. The short version commissioned by the showgoers is already available on all platforms here.

Who is Initials S.P. for?

Curious, spirited, cultured and open-minded individuals. They can be part of the African diaspora and fully embrace both cultures or simply have a keen interest in popular culture from different perspectives. Indeed they can be lovers of Fashion, Music, outings and all art forms from the motherland and elsewhere. As a matter of fact, they are for the Culture, however, do not deny being a product of their environment. They embrace pop culture in and out and have a spiritual and emotional connection with their roots. Nonetheless, their mixed culture is undoubtedly an inherent part of their character and influences their tastes in things life offers them.

Enjoy your reading,

Love, Ayekpa ♥︎
